Serenity Lane’s plan to build an in-patient treatment facility in Coburg required rezoning of the site. Neighbors had fought other businesses’ plans but Marilyn Milne improved communications with them, and the rezoning was approved. Marilyn won a Grand Award in the 2008 APEX national competition, with a judge saying, “Wow. An impressive example of how a public information campaign should be run.” Marilyn provides other PR services for Serenity Lane, such as counsel, media relations and arranging speaking engagements.
